The Tim Hays Band (Piano-Bass/Vocalist-Drums-Sax-Guitar) can provide music appropriate for many different types of events including small cocktail receptions, mid-sized corporate events or large wedding receptions. The core group consists of Bass Player & vocalist Tim Hays who is currently the head of the Elmhurst College Music department and a free-lance musician who has worked all over the country. His pianist Kevin Olsen is particularly talented, especially in the area of jazz. Together they have worked for years pleasing customers from all around the Chicagoland area.

The strength of this group is in their jazz and swing music. From George Gershwin to Cole Porter, Dave Brubeck to Frank Sinatra, The Tim Hays Band can bring to life some of the finest celebration standards. The guitar is what really makes this group special, and opens up the opportunity for some classic rock n roll or "rockabilly" music to be added to the mix.
